Happy holidays everyone!
It’s the perfect time for baking, either alone or with your loved ones! Christmas cookies are delicious but oftentimes full of sugar and butter. BUT here is a healthy, less sweet but also delicious, alternative for you: EINKORN COOKIES! 🙂 Einkorn is the “new” super food these days. It’s the most nutritious grain with a high protein and phosphorous, potassium, and Vitamin B6 content as well as many other very good-for-you ingredients.
After all my travels, I finally had the time to bake again! So, I decided to try out my Einkorn flour from Biojoy and to bake some fresh and healthy buttermilk red-currant Einkorn muffins. They turned out to be super delicious, but also different from other muffins that I have baked so far. The Einkorn flour mixed with coconut oil and vanilla extract made it a little less fluffy and more “crunchy” — YUMM!
You’re wondering what Einkorn actually is?
Today, I had the pleasure to try out a Cocoa YIN YOGA session followed by a vegan and organic Sunday brunch buffet and an inspirational exchange with other bloggers at Essentis – Biohotel in Berlin..
Happy Sunday and 3rd of Advent dear Yogilators!
I decided to switch it up a little and made my beloved 2-ingredients oatmeal cookies today differently. And suffice to say: my guests loved them 🙂
Spoiler alert: there is a little treat for you in this post! Read on, it’s worth it!
Have you ever wished for a delivery service which brings a surprise box full of the newest healthy foods to your house every month?
Furthermore, this delivery service would promise you to include only foods which fulfill at least 3 of those criteria:
What is your favorite to-go snack or (protein) bar?
It’s going to be a long day? Or perhaps you’re about to travel? I travel quite a bit in my job and leisure time, and I never leave my place without snacks. They have saved me many times from “blood sugar emergencies,” low moods, hunger pains, as well as unhealthy food choices.
There are many protein or snack bars out there, unfortunately many of them are sugar-packs, candy bars, or high fructose syrup monsters in disguise. Of course I am not a nutritionist, but I did find some natural, organic and delicious protein bar favorites that I’d like to share here with you since many of you have asked me before what I usually like to snack on 🙂
Hello dear Yogilators!
It’s becoming fall outside, that means cooler mornings and less sunshine during the day. So, our bodies crave warm comfy food that helps us stay energized even when the sun is missing.
One of my old time favorites is my beloved OATMEAL or in some countries better known as “porridge” 🙂 I eat it every morning during the week because it’s quick, easy, delicious, and keeps me satisfied and warmed-up inside.
Sure, it might not look the most delicious to some people, but it IS nutritious, delicious and healthy due to its various health benefits like:
Afternoon slump? Long day ahead? Looking for a coffee alternative?
One of my favorite coffee alternatives where I don’t even have to skip the milk foam! HEAVENLY, easy, healthy, and quick. Have you ever tried Matcha? You can add the powder to your smoothie, oatmeal, or yogurt to mix it up a little. Matcha is full of health benefits ranging from cancer fighting to energy boosting benefits, as well as memory, concentration and endurance increase.

The summer is here and the temperatures are accordingly now as well. How is your appetite these days?
Particularly when it’s hot out, our body and metabolism need lots of water and fresh foods rather than anything heavy.
Ice cream or frozen yogurt are surely a great idea, however, they are unfortunately usually packed with sugar and diary based, but not everyone can or want to actually eat diary (and/or too much sugar).
