After I shared the 1st guest post ever on Yogilation written by my dear blogger friend Julia of JulieFeelsGood a while ago, I’m happy to announce that I’m doing it again!! The blogger team of BookYogaRtereats.com approached me and asked about the opportunity to have a guest post at Yogilation.com about good reasons to consider trying a yoga retreat. Well, you know I truly enjoyed my yoga retreat, so I thought, why not?
Chantal Di Donato, a Certified Holistic Health Coach, yoga teacher, author, nutrition and diet advisor with NLP, and founder of Live Lean Health and Live Lean TV, listed 10 good reasons for us, why retreats are surely a good idea! ENJOY!
I am proud and excited to share the happy news with you that I just got published via the prestigious Huffington Post! 🙂 I couldn’t be more honored! Please share and spread the word if you like it!

UPDATE (January 6, 2016): my 2nd HuffPost blog post just came out!
5 Ways to Deal With Rejection
As a small motivation for the beginning of a new day, I’d like to share something I’ve encountered (yet again..) about two weeks ago during my trip to Amsterdam. I took a (GREAT!) Vinyasa evening yoga class with Chantal Soeters at “Delight Yoga”
It was the day I’ve arrived in Amsterdam and I was actually tired and didn’t feel like my most fit self. However, I (luckily) still decided to go to the yoga class and at the end didn’t regret it at all.
Hello my dear Yogilators!
The new year is only 6 days old and many brands, studios, and so called “discounter stores” are already featuring workout tools, clothes, and accessories with special sales these days in Germany.
2015 is only a few days away. Christmas is over, the time for family and good food, however, also a time to reflect and letting things go to open new ways. The new year is a new beginning, so over the past days, I’ve decided to write down old habits and worries in form of a “Don’t do” list for the new year 2015 🙂
… so here it is:
Hi, my name is Karen and I was born in December 1986 in East Germany, at that time also called the “DDR”.
A few weeks ago, on November, 9th 2014, Germany celebrated 25 years of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Although I was too small to remember what it was like to live in a divided country, I was absolutely amazed and touched by the stories and celebrations of the day when the Berlin Wall came down, 25 years ago.
It’s the new year! Most of us set new goals for 2014, and they oftentimes require change. It’s easy to write down things we want to do, but HOW do we actually make a change? What motivates us?
Sure, we all have heard “Life is like a jump rope/roller coaster/sinus curve..” There are ups and downs. We all know this. Only sometimes, it appears a little harder to create that ~so needed~ sunshine in your life.
This is my little “best of” of inspirational pep-talks that might help you, too. I will most likely add more over time when I stumble over more, so please check in every once in a while. PLEASE also leave your favorites in the comments below! Let’s share happiness and help each other up.
Stay yogilated! And always remember: it’s all gonna work out. It will. 🙂
